BACK TO SCHOOL

I have to apologize for my long leave of absence. Sorry. :) ok that out of the way. I have really been focusing on getting my classroom set up and working on my classroom webpage. I can't wait for this new school year. So far this is what I have as my outside bulletin board.

Since my classroom is monster themed I have really incorparted this theme everywhere. When I am completely done with my class I'll update my post.

I am having a little trouble with my webpage. I don't really know what is essential in a teacher webpage. This is the first year our school is requiring every teacher to create thier page. If you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to comment. I would greatly appreciate it.

Remember it's a work in progress and would really love your input. This is it for now, until I get my classroom completely done I'll post again. Thank you in advance for your help.

Fifty Shades of Grey

I love to read and give my recommendation to people about the books I read. All I can say is Wow, awesome book. If you don't concentrate to much on the sex thing, it's actually a very sad love story...one which can not come to full term.
I got to get my hands on Fifty Shades Darker. I'll keep you all posted.

Day 4: something I am OCD about

When I was growing up I had a sever case of OCD. My clothing had to be a certain order. All blue jeans were together, shirts had to be colored coordinated and by length and style. It was bad.
After 3 kids I have learned to let up. Nothing is perfect and God has shown that to me.
I have a couple little things that I have to do, like if I see things that are not straight I have to, have to fix it. It's OCD what can I say. LOL
This is a short blog sorry guys but just finish state test the STAAR ugh. But thanks for reading. :-)

Day 3: A photo taken of you over 10 years ago

Oh my, really. Okay here goes. This was me in January 1998 during senior skip day. With my husband. Yes who would have thought I would end up with him. Only God knew. I thought he was long gone. :( here goes nothing. In 1997 I was living in Houston, Tx, I was practically homeless. I ended up coming back to the valley (South Texas) little did I know I was bringing back someone else with me....I was pregnant. In this picture I was like 3 months pregnant. This was not only crushed some of my dreams but of others too. When I found out I was pregnant I kept it a secret from everyone in high school. I was a senior and I fell into a stereotype. The embarrassment, I had to face this, I was not going to abort MY child, or give MY child up for adoption. She was mine and I was going to do what was best for her. I think like a week later from taking this picture I stopped talking to him. I knew I couldn't make him feel sorry for me, and besides who wants to be dating a pregnant girl. I made a wrong choice but God was going to help me through it.
I had a blast this day, it was me and my future husband hanging out and us without knowing that we would spend the rest of our lives together. I thank God for how things played out. I graduated from high school in May and had Leah in June. We end up back together on March 1999. He told me he would love my daughter as if she was his. Till this day she only knows him as her daddy. She knows he is not her biological father but she says he is her real dad regardless if the same blood doesn't run through their veins. I love him for that and will always be eternally thankful to my Lord Jesus Christ for always taking care of me and my family. He only has our best interest in mind. Thanks again for reading my rays of sunshine.

Day 1: A photo that makes you happy

I am starting a blog challenge to get my blog started. I am very happy that I have a couple of followers reading my blog. I hope you appreciate my insight and in no way am I trying to enforce my beliefs on you or anything like that.
What I always say is: everyone is entitled to his/her opinion in everything, whether you like it or not. Ok here goes: This is a picture of my family. They are the reason why God put me on this earth, to protect and love them forever and always. They make me smile when I'm crying, cry when I'm laughing and just plainly make my day. I don't know what I would be without them.
My husband and I have known each other since Head Start. Since we were 4 years old. We were always good friends in school. Yes yes I had a huge crush on him, but for some reason we never went out. God's plans for us was not to date in high school and like that song goes I thank God for unanswered prayers, I believe if I would have dated him in high school we would not be where we are today.
My beautiful daughter is the oldest she is a handful. She is so smart, loves to read, and flat out loves to go against everything we say....umm where she gets it is beyond me lol. Oh well, girls will be girls. I just don't want her to grow up too fast and miss out on her childhood. On to Mo. My handsome 4 year old. He is a looker. He loves to play with his toys and even comes up with some crazy stuff. Oh another thing is he loves loves loves to rhyme. He rhymes everything he hears. Sometimes lol it's annoying. Sorry Mo Mo. Mommy Pommy loves you.
Last but not least is my one year old. For those of you that don't know me I have dark skin. My baby came out so white, that during delivery I asked the doctor if he was sure he was mine. Oh by the way it was c-section. Yup the only baby in the room. This little boy is identical to his daddy. He is my little prince and I love him to death. He is a character as well. He will get mad at you if you are not doing things to his specifications . So make sure to obey the master.
Well this is the picture of the people that makes my sunshine burn brighter each and everyday. Tell someone you care about that you love them. You don't know if tomorrow that person will still be here. Can't close this without thanking God for my family. We are not perfect but it's our imperfections that make us unique.
